Euthanasia is the term used to describe the painless or distress-free ending of an animal’s life. Pets with debilitating, incurable diseases can experience enormous suffering that can continue for long periods. Humane euthanasia can help end a pet’s suffering.

Q: When is the right time to let my pets go?

It is one of the most difficult questions even for veterinarians. Generally, if your pet does not function well, does not feel well, or does not behave as normally does, then we can carefully say your pet does not have a good quality of life. Here are few examples: having trouble with breathing, crying a lot, no interest in eating, not drinking enough water, appears depressed, not interested in spending time with you, inability to stand or walk, more bad days than good days, etc. If you notice some of these symptoms with your pet, it is probably time and you will know when because you are with your pet every day.
